The Ranch

Two hundred acres of the same obsession.

Jackson Ranch sits in a valley tucked between Southern California mountains. The elevation, the soil, the morning marine layer — you can't replicate any of it. We've been farming this specific ground since 1975 and every harvest confirms what the first generation already knew. This is exactly the right place to grow Hass avocados, lemons, and citrus.

The fruit here is denser, creamier, and more flavorful because the trees aren't rushed. Cool mornings slow the ripening down, and the roots have to push through granite to find water. That stress is what makes the difference — it's the kind of thing you can taste the moment you cut into any of it.

The valley does the work. We just don't get in the way.

01
Marine Layer
Morning fog rolls through the valley and does what no irrigation system can. It keeps the fruit on the tree longer, building density and flavor that you just can't get from flatland groves.
02
Elevation & Soil
The valley floor sits at the right altitude with decomposed granite soil that forces roots deep. Stressed roots make better fruit. It's not an accident — it's the geology.
03
Lemons & Citrus
The same conditions that make our avocados exceptional do the same for our lemons and citrus. The marine layer, the granite soil, the elevation — it all adds up to fruit with more oil, more juice, and more flavor than anything grown on flat ground.

If you know,
you know.

This fruit didn't fly in from another hemisphere. It didn't sit in cold storage for three weeks. It was on a tree this morning less than an hour from where you're standing. That's not a supply chain — that's a neighbor.

Picked today. On your shelf tomorrow.

There's a reason the best restaurants in Southern California don't ask where their avocados come from. They already know. Same dirt. Same family. Same zip code it's always been.

Water conservation
Every Drop Accounted For
In California, water is the whole conversation. We drip-irrigate every row and monitor moisture by hand. The trees drink what they need. Nothing runs off.
Seedling in soil
Same Dirt. Third Generation.
Our grandfather planted these rows. We're still feeding the same soil he started with. Cover crops, our own mulch, no shortcuts. The ground gets better every year.

Nothing We Wouldn't Eat
No synthetic pesticides. No lab-made fertilizers. If it doesn't belong on our own table, it doesn't go on our trees. That's just how we were raised.

We take care of this land even when no one is watching.
We owe it to ourselves. We owe it to you. We owe it to our kids.
